Can the end caps on Leaf Guard gutters be removed?

We are getting our house reroofed and was thinking of some type of Gutter Guards. Do yours work well and would you recommend? We have a lot of trees in our area and spring/fall are especially bad to clog. We have the nice type of mesh guards like you purchase at Lowes or Home Depot - still get hung up. Thanks

Those gutter guards from chain stores are useless.Especially if you have more than a couple trees in your yard.

You need a continuous cover to combat the leaves.

+1 to Roofmaster's comments.

They are a complete waste of money.

We use RainDrop and Leaf Solutions depending on the vegetation.
