Question

interior walls sweating

I have a split level home that I've recently purchased. There is no leak, plumbing, air ducts or anything like that in my attic and my hallway walls are sweating bad. Happening right @ the hottest time of day and it seems to be alot of heat escaping around my attic access in hallway. I have gable vents and soffit vents but none of the things on house that spin around(don't know what they are called). Do yall think that this is a ventilation problem or something else? Got 2 get it fixed!!

interior walls sweating

Definetly venting issue, if its happening at hotest time of day, is your house got a/c, the warmer the air the more moisture it can hold when the warmer air meets with colder air it cause the warmer air to drop its moisture ie condensation. Look for two things plugged attic venting at soffits, your insulation may be covering your soffit vents or animals nesting in roof vents are another source.
