ice dam removal


I was recently searching on the internet for a way to remove ice dams and i stumbled upon this video witch is easy to use and i've had alot of success with hope it helps.

Hot water freezes more quickly than cold water.

does he have a gutter? It didn't look like it. I see some odd looking channel below the fascia board but it doesn't look like he has a gutter on the fascia.

With a gutter, his idea won't work. That ice chunk in the gutter doesn't give up so easily.

I don't know. I think that applies to containers of water. Maybe not true on a roof.
