How to terminate Steel roof cap into cross gable with out leaks?
I have done many shingled roofs with the cross gables with out issues.. but residential steel (pro rib) is new to me as far as valleys go.. I have a 6/12 pitch cross gable terminating at and about 3ft below the 12/12 roof. Im a little confused as to how the ridge cap terminates at thus location and sheds water from the 12/12 roof? As the ridge cap will be up against the ribs the panel.. do i make flashing and caulk everything? Any ideas or picks will be appreciated..
If you propery scissor-lock the valleys together like they normally get locked together, everything should fall into place with little to no caulk.
