How to overlap 3 layers of SA roofing?

I have an Eichler home that has an addition. The Addition is near flat. Thanks to your great site here, I decided to go with a self-adhered roofing system. I went with Polyglass.

The guy at the supply company suggested that I roll the base up the side of the curb (I hope that's the right term). And roll the mid and cap layers over the top the curb and put the flashing over that.

All three layers are 3' 3 3/8" wide. So if I have the middle layer and top layer starting at the same spot, the overlaps will pile up on each other. Is this okay? If not, how do i remedy this? Shave the first roll?

Edit: The side with the edition has a conventional gutter instead of a curb. So on that side, all three layers would be starting at the same point.

Any input would be much appreciated. Thank you.

That's why you use a full roll, a 1/2 roll, then a full one again.

Actually it's best to use thirds so no lap is lining up. If you are terminating with some kind of edge flashing, we usually sandwich the metal between the mid-ply and the cap sheet after priming it.

I agree with OldNBroken. But it sounded like it was only 3 runs. I could have been wrong.

That makes sense. It's what I was thinking when I said "shave". But your suggestion on doing the second roll makes more sense. The roofing supply guy did say he'd normally sandwich the curb flashing between the mid and cap, but since I had such a tall curb it'd be okay to just put it on top.

Thank you for your replies.
