How bad is the leak? Possible DIY?

Hi everyone,

I noticed my roof is leaking a bit over the backyard patio. It seems to be seeping through and pooling over the plastic covers over the patio. How bad is the damage? I would like to try to fix it myself if it is easy. How do I do it myself? The singles are present where the leak is happening.

Based on those pictures the leak should be fairly localized to that area. Really need to see what that area of your roof looks like from the outside before any proper assessment can be made. Any penetrations or transistions in or above that area? That's usually the first place to start.

ONB Thats funny as heck, I just did the same thing. Nail pop. Second key to the right of the B vent. There are probably a lot more of them up there judging by the lifting tabs.

Could you at least edit one of your outside photos and either circle or point to the area of the roof affected. Its not that dofficult. Pick a color and pick a shape.

Also how you post the photos can be deceiving the way they run together. when I saw this shot I was thinkng nice, a ceiling fan over the roof.

+1

You can fix that leak pretty simply but be prepared for a bunch more. Roof is on its last legs.
