Attic ventilation is best if it is balanced and passive.

I just noticed some dark brown spots on the soffit and siding where water drip only on the same side where roof vents are. Again it tells me moisture builds up on the same side drips down the roof sheathing trough soffit and on the side of the siding. Any thoughts? Anyone?

Ridge Vent

Personally, I would put a ridge vent across the entire ridge of the roof. Don't go with just some of the ridge. It has to be flashed correctly, so if you don't trust yourself in doing it, get someone who knows how to help, or hire a professional. Especially where you live, it seems that would be standard instead of vents here and there.
