HELP - Finishing Row on a Shed Roof

I need some advice...

I've got a firewood shelter I'm building with a shed roof on it (simple shed roof - no peak - just a slanted flat roof - see the attached image).

I'm putting felt and composite shingles on it - but am puzzled on how to finish it - when I get to the last course - at the top so it looks decent (it will be right at eye level)...

What is the proscribed manner of finishing such a roof? To use dripedge over the top - or cut some tabs off or something? How do I keep the edge from otherwise being exposed?

Thanks for the assist!

An 'over-bent' piece of metal shaped like an 'L'. When bent right, it will conform to slope of roof and point straight down.

HELP - Finishing Row on a Shed Roof

So just a piece of L flashing or drip edge then - just nailed in place (w/ roofing nails)? I figured it would be something like that - I was just hoping that there would be a solution a bit more elegant than that (since it's at eye level)....

Thanks for the assist!

You can get creative and nail strips of matching metal where the flashing is going, and bend it up and over the trim to attach it. Allow 8" either way and see what 'design' suits your needs best.
