Hardi vs Smart Side


So Kwick- did you do the test with the new Smart side? Still interested in the results-

After 3 days the LP grew a 1/16. At day 10 something had knocked the bucket over but it was still + a 1/16. It's been dry since and today it's still at 7/16".

The Hardie didn't change.

Thanks!- Sure doesn't sound like catastrophic failure.
I would think that if installed correctly it would hold up .

That and keeping it well painted is key.
