Gutters what type do you think?

I am doing my roof over and gutters as well what are the pros and cons to the different styles of gutters? The gutters with the mesh cover to let water and snow through or the newer style that most of the gutter is covered and only an1/8" aprox is open to only let rain water pass through.

I have a very large Oak tree in my yard where the back of my house although gets a lot of shade from. Also gets all its leaves and growth (lycra) on it. So some sort of gutter cover is needed.

I just bought a bunch of cheap home depot screens. 2 bucks per 3 foot piece. Probably good for a few years. If it is in the shade I have had those screens last ten years. They get cheaper every year. The pros are they are fairly cheap and easy to install. They keep everything out. If they do not work you can try something different. The cons, most people install them wrong. They are a few different designs, some of the designs really suck. In heavy rains, water just shoots over them. As for those louver style screens, they really suck. They will, in the beginning grab most of the water coming off your roof. After a few years stuff starts to build up inside the gutter and is very difficult to clean. There are several different styles. Most people do not block the ends off and birds get inside.
