Gutter Selection Help

I need to put gutters on my house. approx 120 linear ft. 4 or 5 downspouts.

I have been looking around and it almost seems not worth the time to do it myself?????

Can anyone comment on general cost of gutters installed? I have seen anywhere from 3.50-9 a ft. obviously variables are the issue there. So its a one story. I have 2 55 ft side that need done and a 12 section on the back. Its straight forward. the fascia is flashed it sits parallel to the house so it should not need any wedging etc to sit right.

I am almost thinking by the time i buy all the extra crap you need for pieced in gutters ( seam pieces, sealer, etc) its not worth my time?

Oh yeah i am in western NC if that makes a difference

I appreciate any info..........also is there a way for a homeowner to access seamless gutters?? in other words. can i just have the 3 sections made for me and then hang them myself?? Is that an option worth pursuing??

That is an option. Most gutter companies will form and drop. Call and ask.

Any idea what the price diff will or should be for that? I called one place today and was quoted 3.50 a ft including downspouts. Thats nearly equal to the supplies alone at the big box I think

Prices vary wildly from region to region, so I can't comment on price, but if it's $3.50/ft hung, I'd let them hang it. I'm assuming that's for 5" ogee with 2x3 downspouts.

hes coming to look and give details...that was general. hopefully not 2x3 but 3x4 shouldn't make a big diff. dont think too many guys do 2x3 anymore

I paid $473 for one 33 foot section, one 44 foot section, one 2 foot section, and 3 downspouts. I think it was worth the price.
