grace ice and water shield


is it necessary to put grace ice and water shield up amd down the roof rake?

Additional underlayments/procedures are required in certain regions.

In my area, No, it's not a requirement.

In a coastal region, snow country, etc., it may be.

Try asking this question at a local roofing supply store/lumber yard or contact your local engineers office for code/regulations information.
