Drip edge questions

Have a 48 ft stretch of gutter on the rear face of our house which slppes towards both ends. It was installed after the house was built so the drip edging is behind the gutter, plus with the pitch needed it drops below the drip edge anyhow. Gutters seems to work fairly well but i am getting some weeping between the soffit and the gutters backside. Any thoughts on the best solution? You can see water sheeting down from the drip edge to back behind the gutter during heavy rain...

Drip edge questions

How far are the shingle over hanging the edge of the roof?
They sell a simple L shaped flashing just for this.
Sort of looks like regular drip cap but the side that goes on the roof is longer so it can slide up under the shingles.

Drip edge questions

A good gutter hanger would have put the back of the gutter behind the drip edge. Joe has the right idea for a repair, short of re-hanging the gutter.

Not far about the same amount the drip flashing protrudes.
