Drip Edge/Gutter Apron & Electrolyses

Is it kosher to use Galvanized Gutter apron with aluminum gutters? My understanding is that different metals touching while wet will cause corrosion problems.

What about keeping my steel downspouts when installing new aluminum gutters? Is there some kind of connector that would resolve the problem? (I'm thinking zinc or vinyl)

what you heard is correct and sometimes it can be a real problem
best to keep these different metals apart

you can do this with a heavy coat of paint or some other type of ''non''conductive material like flashing tape or vinyl separations
