I have a new house and it came with gutters, but the downspouts are missing. I've gotten a couple quotes for around $450 but wondering now if maybe I can do this myself. It doesn't seem too difficult if I put my mind to it. Any advice form the pros out there? I would need to do all four corners of our 2 story house. HEre is a pic. you can see above the porch there is a downspout needed, but also in other corners the downspout would just hang straight down. The one in the photo would that downspout just drain onto the roof and then into the lower gutter and downspout? Sorry for the long post. Thanks!!
remember that each piece from above should fit INSIDE the one below,W/ a lot of water draining, usually you want to run the elbow directly to the gutter,so the flow doesn`t carry it past the gutter, secure each piece w/gutter screws or rivets(don`t put them at the bottoms of the pieces) look at the ones you have in place now to see what I mean
