Once the weather changes up here is the great white north I want to deal with some downspout problems at my house. The builder put the downspouts in awful spots, and I either have to move them at the roof, which would require my eaves to be resloped. Has anyone in a cold climate had any lucky burying your downspouts, if so did you do any heat tracers or anything. How does it work in the winter. I will pose pictures in the next few days.
By the time you figure in the heat trace and other items, it might be cheaper to run new gutters and DS.
+1 on that. But as usual no pix equals speculation.I am curious about the positioning of the existing downspouts. What leads you to believe they are in the wrong place ?.,I would have waited until you had your pix to post.
