Does it hurt to walk on a roof???????3 t

I took down a monster of a tree last fall. I was up on my roof 3--4 times a year. long big slight grade roof. My eaves troughs were always full, do to a dirty old locust tree. something fallin 4 different things every summer. and she didn't want me on the roof to badly anymore. I Always was careful when up there . Never stepped on the valleys. my question; does it hurt to walk on your roof? if so how much is to much.in one season [summer] bob s

ps Will the roof wear out a lot quicker being up there blowing out the gutters, and just being up there,+walking standing on it.?

Not going to hurt anything unless you have some real worn out crappy shingles.

Not if its a solid roof .I'm on mine probably 5 times a year with the leaf blower cleaning the gutters do to the trees. Couple times in fall blowing leaves off back of roof.

How much do you weigh?

Seriously, shingled roofs if in good shape not a problem to walk on. Tiled roofs can be problematic - often need to be very careful where you step else you crack a tile.

Biggest danger to the process is you falling off the roof.

Once the roof is smoked, it can be tricky to walk and you danger associated with accessing the roof goes up exponentially.
