Do they make this?

I installed lead vent pipe flashing. Do they make a collar that could go at the top of the pipe instead of me having to bend the lead into the pipe? If not, do they make a counter flashing that slides on top of the lead flashing for extensions etc. I accidentally damaged the top of the lead flashing while trying to bend one. It still goes over the pvc, but it doesn't go over by much. If they make such a product(s), where can I buy them?

Also, is there a proper method for bending the lead into the pipe? It looks really mangled when I do it.

gentel tapping with a hammer is called for when installing lead flashing.

You might try some super dooper caulking to solve your almost long enough flashing problem. You will not see it from the ground and can last until you re-roof.

If you can figure out how to cut the pvc a little shorter while not harming the lead boot it might solve, but not as easy as some caulk.

neoprene vent flashing does great on pvc.

Get a scrap of 4" wide lead sheet or find the old discarded flashing and cut it off from that one, if you still have it and fold 2" in the interior and 2" on the exterior.

Remember, gentle..........!

Use the wood or fiberglass handle from your hammer to do the tapping and forming of the lead.

I think HD has some type of top of the pipe insert caps to check out. I have seen them on roofs, but never used them myself.

it`s always neater when you only leave an inch and a half or so above the pipe top,tap in at one point and continue in the same direction till you`re back at the same point
