Correcting a mistake on a newly shingled roof

After a tear off, I re-shingled my roof last week. Today, I discovered to my chagrin and horror that the drip edge on the eave (downside)side of the roof had been installed incorrectly, i.e. on top of rather than below my lower course of felt. What would you do at this point? Nothing versus pulling it off and trying to install it correctly. Can this be reasonably done without tearing up the roof?

Signed,
One step forward, two backward :(

So long as the shingle hangs over the drip edge like it should you shouldn't have a problem. You will do more damage attempting to fix then it would be worth.

+1

Ideally, water should not be behind the felt regardless. Leave it. You will tear it up getting the drip edge under.
