Corner shingles along eave are raised up


They aren’t concave, and they still angle down. But, starting about 18” from the corner and continuing to the corner, the shingles angle down less--they sort of billow up.

What causes that, and does it matter?

Sounds like you have numerous questions and concerns. Pictures would be very helpful. Sounds like you didn't hire the most experienced roofers in town, unless they do things different there.

Yes, OldNBroken, I do have a number of concerns. Unfortunately, I've never figured out how to insert pictures into my emails. I'll go attempt to do that now.
