Compressor size/quality for Roofing

I'm sure this has been asked a hundred times on here, but, it's hard to weed through threads about compressors to get specific info. What is recommended for compressor size to power up ONE NAIL GUN. Yes, I am doing my roof by myself........I did one side the old-fashioned way......hammer and nails......not fun. My 3-gallon pancake compressor is not gonna help me on this job......also, which brand is most reliable and long-lasting. Thank you.

The pancake will run one or two nail guns full time, no problem.
