Chimney insulation.

What heatresistent item/glue/sealer can I use to seal a metal chimney to a metal flange to keep it waterproof?

Chimney insulation.

Assuming you mean the storm cap that slides down the pipe to the pipe collar on the roof, use Permanent Gutter sealer. Heat resistant is not necessary since all chimne pipes are 2-3 layers. ( If not, yu have the wrong pipe and need to replace it ASAP!)
