chimney flashing


was rooffing and forgot to put the flashing on the chimney any way to fix this

was rooffing and forgot to put the flashing on the chimney

That seems like it would be easy to do.

Simple fix.,.,.,However sometimes its better to do it the hard way.

Remove all of the shingles around the chimney and install the flashing.

Just have to ask though.,.,Is this your own home ?.,.,or are you contracted to do this project?

chimney flashing


chimney flashing has to be bent and cut into the mortar joint of the chimney so water will not run down the chimney and behind the flashing thus getting into your wall and house.

I am pretty sure that they are talking about step flashing.,.,
