Hi there guys, just wondering if you could give me some tips or pointers to my situation =)
Our house right now is almost 20 years old already. The roofing material right now is cedar wood, and our total roof area is around 2900 and require around 32 square feet of total materials. We live in Vancouver Canada area.
With a big surface area, which material do you guys suggest and what should be a reasonable prince range? We were recommended with 3 types from low to highest quality: Fibreglass shingles, Cedartwin shingles, and Cedartwin Ultra, ranging from around $17000, 20000, 23000 cdn respectively (tax included). That is a lot of money
The Fibreglass shingles have 30 years warrantly, while Cedartwin and Cedartwin Ulra have lifetime warranty, as well as including an upgrade package (heavy duty underlayment, continuous ridge vent system, and raised ridge system that's worth around $500)
It would be great if you guys can provide us some tips =) Thanks!!
