Can I install a drip edge on this roof myself?

We're having to repaint some weathered fascia. I've bought the sander and am ready to paint, but my dad said that unless we get a drip edge installed here, it will just happen again. But everything I see online about installing drip edges seem to be geared toward shingle roofs.

Looking at the picture, does it look possible for us to install a drip edge ourselves? Or do the tiles need to be completely removed, a bigger job than we can do?

Any other suggestions about preventing weathering?

I don't feel installing a drip edge would eliminate your problem.1)If drip edge was need to eliminate your issue, then the drip edge would have to exceed far enough past your roof line to have any effect.Not happening.
2)Your damage area is from the vertical (top to bottom) and parellel ( Left to right)of the entire length and height. The only way to eliminate damage is to install gutters.then it'll only eliminate water travel from only a minimal distance below the gutters. If gutters are not in your future then treat ,prime and paint.
