Can I do my roofing work myself, or should I hire a contractor?

Iím facing the annoying problem of roof leak and want to repair it by myself but someone told me that I must call a roofer to do this, what are the opinions of you guys.

If you know how to fix the leak....fix it. If you don't know how.....take pictures and post it here.

Then....if we tell you to call a roofer.....most likely a good idea....if we explain how to fix it....go fix it.

How steep is the roof?
One story?
Got a picture?
Any idea what to look for as to why it's leaking?

How are people on a forum suppose to know your skill level when it comes to roof repair?

This thread has to be a joke.

This is the same guy from Pakistan who posted basically the identical thing in another thread last week. He has never responded to either post.

Yeah you have to look at certain threads that make no sense and the date the member joined
