Building house in south Louisiana, assuming hardieplank is more economical to install than brick but how well does it hold up to hot humid wet conditions.
Holds up fine, but it still will need repainting at some point unlike brick.
Have a baseball or a stone hit Hardee plank and it shatters like glass unlike brick.
Id use brick with those crazy ass cajuns trying to shoot gators with rusty rifles down there, besides Hardi- aint nearly as Hearty as brick.
