Boat house roofing

We have a boat house that we are trying to make water proof. I have a flex core concrete on top. I am getting ready to pur a rubber barrier on the top of that. I want to make sure that when the boat house is all complete that we can still walk on it, put furniture on it etc. My question is I am not sure if I want to concrete over the barrier or put a deck on the barrier. I am also not sure how to do the sides of the boat house where the core is at. If I cover it with the barrier.. I want to be able to side the boat side when done. I am not sure what type of over hang I will need on the sides. I will post pictures. Please let me know what you guys think.
