Bitumen cracking ?

One more question for y'all--

I've decided to have a bitumen (torch down) roof installed over the two porches.

I need to level the house (pier and beam) at some point, but $$$ . I must fix the roof leaks immediatly however.

Question-- Once the new roofing is in place, will leveling the house (6in or so upward on that part) cause the new bitumen surfaces to crack ? If not, how long a time to I have to safely level the house w/o damaging the roofing ?

As always-- thanks !!

Bitumen cracking ?

Will probably damage the new roofing. Modified bitumen is generally an easy repair for an experienced torch roofer.
