best way to fix facia board, stuck/wedged under roofing drip edge

People,

trying to get a picture up here soon, meanwhile, in the event the picture offers limited utility, have a roten face board, 1x8, 12' long, and it just crumpled upon applying slight force. So, now, I have the portion of the 1x8 stuck/splintered
up underneath the drip edge, and geez, cant get it out since I imagine, theres more nails u8nder there impossible to accesss. maybe sawzall?

Can pop up drip edge without damaging the integrity of the roofing shingles at the drip line? How do they do it?

Thnaks!

Sawzall is the answer, you can GENTLY lift up the drip if needed. Try to do this when above 50f. Good luck!

Try cutting the nails as suggested but start at the ends and work to the middle so your not trying to support the whole length by just the end.

good deal, people. thanks for the expert advice........only thing with sawzall, one has th be very careful not to let the tip of the oscillating saw to bump the asphalt shingles from underneath , during sawing. perforate the roofing, and more trouble. I'll be careful- maybe measure the saw length first.
