Bat proof Ridge vents

Does anyone have any advice on best ridge vent to use that is BAT PROOF? Contractor wants to use a plastic product called SmartRidge II by DCI Products. I have read that plastic will buckle and gaps can occur in the heat.
Any advice appreciated!

Bat proof Ridge vents

You read wrong.
I would not use that brand it restricts the air flow to much.
Also no form of rolled out type vent should be used.
One I use is this style.
