Barn Roof

Hi all,
I am making a shed shaped like a barn. I am having trouble with making all the rafters the same size. I have measured the angles about 20 times and i still can not make two allike. Are there any tricks to doing this? I would like to know if it is me or is this as hard to do as i am making it. HELP, Please.
