Attic Ventilation

I need some help. I am getting ready to add insulaton to my attic and have found that I only have two gable vents for airflow. The previous owner add a sunroom to the back of the house (no way to get soffit vents put in). The front of the house has a cover that extends four feet over the front of the house and does not have soffit vents installed. No ridge vent on house. What would be the good way to ensure that I have enough airflow.

Post a picture of the outside of the house.
With no soffit vent, the other vents will do almost no good and you'll be sucking conditioned air out of the house into the attic.

Soffit and Ridge vent combo should work in this application on the front of the home. Probably blockers in there but they can be cut out.
