Attic Frost

Hi,
I have posted 3 to 4 days ago that I am having frost in my attic.
I have well insulated the attic hatch area because the frost was forming almost right above the attic hatch.
I have checked after 3 days but the frost is still there and also every nail in my roof is covered with frost.
This is well designed Minto townhome in ottawa only 7 years old. Humidity level in my home is around 40.
I don't know what is causing frost, any advice.
Regards
Attic

Make sure everything penetrating your ceilings are properly sealed such as
light fixtures, heating/ac duct work, ceiling fans/vents, etc.

Make sure you have proper intake "including unobstructed air flow" and exhaust vents.

Make sure all kitchen, bath and laundry room exhaust fans are being exhausted out of the home, not into the attic/crawl spaces.

Make sure you do not have a roof leak, either through the shingles, wall/valley flashing's, sky lights, gutters, etc.

Create a list of things to check and starting with the easiest/safest on the list for you to check your self and mark each item off as you go,
you'll either find the problem or get to the point in which you know you need to call in a contractor and let them look into it.

Thats good that your attic hatch is well insulated, but is it well sealed ? If you have frost right above your hatch, that sounds like an air leak at your hatch. Some closed cell foam tape like this http://www.homedepot.ca/webapp/wcs/s...k=P_PartNumber
should help.
