attic fan


hi everyone,
i am new to this forum hope i ask the right place. my house have 2 story and the really hot upstair during the summer. i was thinking of placing a attic fan to flow out all the hot air. i was wonder which band is best out there. i real need some thing that is powerful and quite. i did search on google and realize that my option is thermometer attic fan . however, there are so many. can you guy point me to the right directions.

attic fan


Attic fans (power ventilators) are normally sized based on the cubic feet of your attic. also you need proper ventilation i.e. soffit vents, gable vents, ridge vent. air in -air out.

Well, you're gonna have to pick one or the other.

There is a great variety of roof ventillators. Some electric, some solar, some wind driven. They are all available in various sizes, depending on how big your attic is. The wind driven ones are bigger, and in the opinion of some - ugly. The solar ones are most expensive, but don't require any electrical wiring. The electric hard wired ones may be the most popular and economical to install.
