Attaching metal flashing to Faux stucco

I have areas that the metal flashing is separating from the stucco on my home. What would be the best product to seal these areas?

It is, there is/was something there but in some areas it has "pulled apart" leaving small gaps between the flashing and structure, which is allowing water to leak into the ceiling below.

there should actually be gaps between the top of the flashing and the stucco
these areas should not be filled
thats how water exits from behind the stucco.you have any pictures of the affected area?

a bead of caulk should not be the only thing keeping water out of your house
