Asphalt/reflective roof coating. Is my roof a suitable candidate? Pics inside.

Would my roof be a good candidate for an asphalt coating and reflective coating? Pics below.

Its an asphalt/gravel roof, the roof was re-done maybe 20 years ago. I know the general consensus is that if the roof is over 10 years of age, it would not be a good candidate. But right now in this economy we do not have enough cash for a new roof.

In its current state, we are not experiencing any problems (leaks) with the roof.

Anyone able to advise me on this? Or tell me what needs to be done since the (i'm guessing) fiber glass is exposed. Thank you!

I have done multiple restorations of both flat and sloped roofing systems.
The first step in each case is a hands on inspection of the existing system.

I do not believe any roofer is going to be able/willing to advise you here based on a few photo's, other than to suggest you call a/a few local roofers willing to give a free estimate and see what they have to say first.

Afterwards, post those roofers comments, with both the comments and photos it will be possible for one of the roofers here to help lead you in the right direction.

I have never had much success trying to coat gravel roofs on the rare occasion that I tried. We will now only coat smooth or capsheet BUR.
