Applying oil to a shake roof
Sure it will but be prepared to do it every or every couple of years or you’re wasting your time.
“Chevron Shake and Shingle Oil” is what you want to use. You won’t find it at a box store or online. A Chevron Heating Oil Company can hook you up. It’s only about $65 for five gallons in my area.
