Another leaky roof question
I have a finished attic (third floor), I didn't do the work. This morn I work up to a leaking 2nd floor ceiling.

The attic ceiling has a layer of drywall, insulation and then chip board for ventilation. The plumbing vent pipe had a leak in the past, I tarred it pretty good in the summer. I cut a hole to inspect anyway. The insulation, wood and drywall is all dry around the pipe. If I put my fingers around the pipe near the roof, I do feel a tiny bit of condensation, but nothing else seems wet. But yet below the drywall is all wet and the floor underneath is wet. Anyone think that I have multiple leaks?

It's moisture building up and making the drywall wet. The OSB is acting like poly and keeping the moisture inside, but in the wrong area. There should be poly behind the drywall and the OSB needs to be removed or vented properly.

After that is fixed, you will need some new dry air up there. Air exchanger or dehumidifier.

The second floor ceiling has a leak and the finished flooring of the attic above is wet, but the drywall/roof over the wet spot isn't leaking/stained?
