what is the best way to attach a slant roof to hip roof of house. there is a 55'' gap from house slab to garage slab. i have built a wheel chair ramp from pourch to slab of old garage. the old slab is 50 years old and no cracks in it. i need it to be 22' wide x 24' long. i don't know how to tie to house rafters. i wii put in open wall at edge to support joist so there will be a real span of 16' of open span. thanks for any help. it really will be nice to get a roof so my fanther-in-law can stay dry. david
