a 30 foot span trusses able to hold 6 feet of snow

l want to reinforce my roof, half the house has no division accross the trusses. one idea is adding more to the w frame, or framing another trusses beam inside the roof accross the trusses that would sit on the bottom member of the actual strusses and the top of my new beam would fit tighly under the top ridge gusset. inside the house under my new beam, l would add a post 10' feet apart

Post a diagram or photo. The roof construction and angles need to be specified.

That doesn't sound like it would help much for snow load. Find out who designed your trusses and see what snow load they were designed for. They should be able to tell you the best way to add load capability.
