Default white spots on gea verda tile around salt water pool

just install a new salt water pool a few weeks ago. now the tile around the pool area is getting white spots. any suggestion to how to stop this or is this going to be and on going problem. can you suggest a cleaner to help remove them or maybe something else that may stop it. thanks for any information. also this pool is an indoor pool

most likely this is efflorescence. The grout in the tiles had too much water content when laid. you can get cleaners for this at mason supply houses.

Are the spots on the tile or the grout, what type of tile, glazed or is this stone?

Bet the salt water has a play in this.

It is a porcelian tile.we install it in a carport that we made in to a indoor pool.

Listen up!

Are the spots on the tile or the grout, what type of tile, glazed or is this stone?

I doubt very much it is efflorescence.

White spots on the tile. The tile is porcelian and glazed

I bet it's dry salt from the water, does it wipe up?

no they do not wipe up. and i just found out from the pool guy there is no salt in the pool yet. it will be a few more weeks. he said he has to shock it first before adding everything else. the only chemical in the pool is muratic acid

take a picture then tape down 2'0x2'0 piece of plastic for a wk,,, IF there's wtr on top, its the pool,,, underneath, if they're enlarg'd OR there's more of 'em, its not vapor barrier under the slab ? ? ?
