undercounter sink

It is something that requires specialized tooling in order to get the exposed edge to look good. Not a DIYer job in any way shape or form. Even the granite fabricators don't do it on site, it is done during the top's fabrication.

A conventional overmount sink is the best option for a DIYer to add a sink to an existing countertop. A grinder with a diamond blade will do the trick.
