We had a new concrete slab poured in January of 2008 (15'x 30'). Slab is 4" thick over a moisture barrier, no in slab radiant heat, no control joints and at grade level. There is also a man door to the outside. Plan to install ceramic tile in Feb.
The slab is flat and does not have any cracks. Can I just use modified thinset between the ceramic (12x 12 or 13x 13) tiles and the slab or do I need a membrane?
What we've got here is... failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it... well, he gets it.
