Tilers Mesh for Tile Seams

When meshing cement board to cement board seams, should I use the Fiba self-adhesive tape, then a thin layer of thinset? or thinset in the gap (between the cbu seams), then Fiba tape, then another thin layer of thinset? or, should I use a non-adhesive tape?

Also, is it safe to assume that I can use the above same mesh tape to mesh the seams between the cement board and greenboard?

BTW, I'm using durock sheets. Thanks all.
