why would ceramic tiles stain

You should probably give us some more details.
Ceramic tiles don't "just stain." There had to be something pretty serious happen. |

Ok I’m assuming from the vague description here that the tile stain you are referring to are marks and spots that became embedded on the surface of the tile and along the grout lines causing an unclean ugly appearance. If this is what you have then use grout and tile stain cleaner to remove your stain. Generally, proper cleaning and maintenance will prevent tile stain and make your floors more beautiful and stay in good condition for many years.

No clue what that last poster is trying to say or asking.
You have one of the hardest man made tiles made, so I agree there's something very wrong of there staning. |
