Tile Step to step safley in to the tub is that a good thing or not.


Will people trip over a tile step in bath room floor we nead a step the yub is 22 in. high Thanks Gary

Hi Gary,

I don't think a step at a tub is a very good idea at all. Even if you installed a couple assist grab bars. Why can't you sit on the edge and swing into the tub? Got a pic?

I'm with Jaz. NEVER put a step inside or outside a tub!

Two reasons:
1. They will be slippery when wet. VERY DANGEROUS!
2. They make the two bottoms of the opposite sides of the tub wall different heights. This will throw off your brain and create a fall hazard.
