Tile a shower: Floor or wall first?

I'm putting up 1x1 foot tiles on the walls and 2"x2" tiles on the floor.

Can anyone post the pros and cons of doing one first over the other?

I'm thinking I want to do the floor first, but then I see videos of the walls first.

Do people grout the transition or caulk it?

Tile a shower: Floor or wall first?

The floor should be done first. However--You will want a ledger board attached to the wall for your first course of tiles. 12x12 are heavy and will slide---so it is possible to tile the upper section of the walls--

Then the floor pan--after that --the bottom course and curb.

Caulk all corners.---Mike---
