Tile layout in small bathroom

tiled Newbie   Join Date: May 2012 Posts: 1	Tile layout in small bathroom I have 1' X 2' tile which I will be laying horizontally on the floor then into the shower, which is straight ahead of the entrance to the bath. Would the tile look best in a brick pattern or just aligned next to each other?

Are you using the same tile on the walls of the shower? Run the tile lengthwise on the floor, then horizontally on the walls to give more visual interest.

I would just lay them out on the floor and see what looks best to you. I know you didn't ask this, but have you tiled much before? Tiles that large require an absolutely flat surface. Be aware they can be very difficult for a beginner.
