Tile basics

I have the task to install tiles as a bathroom vanity Backsplash. Vanity is tucked into a cubby space (3 walls). Two of the walls are Sheetrock and one wall is plaster. I know zero about tiles. I mean ZERO! What should I be studying?

Thanks.

You should be reading the 'tile and marble'--and 'flooring' sections here.

Also look at Bud Clines How to "Mud-what is it?"

You have picked a good first time tile project----Post a picture---let us know the tile you wish to use--

Someone will walk you through the supplies/tools/skills--needed to do a good job.---Mike----
